Why the fee exists

The monthly fee keeps a site running: hosting, the domain, weekly lot updates and revisions. The build fee covers the work of making it in the first place, once, so the monthly fee never has to carry it.
Design and structure
The page plan, the lot sheet layout, county and sale-type pages, all drawn for how your firm actually runs a sale.
The build itself
Custom coded pages that hold 90+ PageSpeed on a phone, with bidder registration wired into your CRM.
Launch copy
Written copy for every launch page, in your terms and your vocabulary, checked against your registration and deposit rules.
Moving what exists
Your current site migrated where it is worth keeping, with the old URLs redirected so nothing a bidder bookmarked breaks.

Pay once through Stripe
A secure Stripe page takes the card. We never see or store the card number.
Receipt by email
Stripe sends the receipt straight away and we send a short confirmation. That settles the build fee in full.

Five questions about the build fee
Is this a subscription?
No. The build fee is a single payment of $697, taken once. Nothing on this page repeats. Your monthly plan is billed separately and is not changed by paying the build fee.
Do I need to pay this?
Only if we have told you a build fee is due. It is invoiced after launch, once you have approved the site. Plans started on or before December 31, 2026 have the build fee waived, so if yours is one of them there is nothing to pay here.
Why is the amount the same on every plan?
Because every plan is the same site underneath. The build work does not change between Lot Sheet, Sale Day and Full Docket; the higher plans add engines on top of the finished site, and those are covered by the monthly fee.
Is paying here safe?
Yes. The pay buttons open a secure Stripe checkout. The card details go to Stripe over an encrypted connection, and this site never sees or keeps them.
Can the build fee be refunded?
All sales are final, and that includes the build fee. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge: email us within 30 days of the charge and, where the error is ours, the difference is refunded to the original payment method. The refund policy sets this out in full.
